New and Exciting Opportunities

Diamond Hill Baptist Church fully believes in the power of Jesus and his Word. We believe that at any age the truths that are within the Bible are vital to building a solid Biblical foundation on which we can stand when our beliefs are tested in a world that is seemingly moving further and further away from God.

With that in mind, we want to provide an opportunity for children, from the ages of 3 years to 5th grade, to learn theology so they will have a strong anchor that keeps them unwavering and unshaken from the truth of Jesus Christ. We understand the Children’s Ministry is not something that would take the place of household discipling, but rather it would serve as a complimentary tool that would help engage their minds with theological words, phrases, questions, and activities. Through this engagement our prayer is that they will be more inquisitive of who Jesus is and how absolutely necessary he is to their lives as they continue to grow.

Our current study is based on “The Ology” by Marty Machowski, illustrated by Andy McGuire. In the study we will cover topics such as The Ology of: God, People, Sin, the Promise and the Law, Christ, the Holy Spirit, Adoption into God’s Family, Change, the Church, the End Times, God’s Word.

Our most sincere prayer is that through the study Jesus would reveal himself to everyone, whether it be the children, teachers, or parents. He is great and worthy to be praised! Please join us on this journey Sunday Nights from 5:30pm – 6:30pm beginning February 19, 2017.
