On the first Wednesday of each month, our men also meet for prayer, Bible study, and discussions regarding various local mission projects. While our men’s ministry, formally known as the “Brotherhood” has long been a part of Diamond Hill’s ministry, we are currently working toward revitalizing this ministry to include not only missions projects, but to develop it into a men’s discipleship ministry as well. Along with numerous local ministry projects such as wood cutting, construction, repair, landscaping, and providing for several yearly, church-wide events, our Men’s ministry leaders are working to provide more opportunities for our men to build Christian relationships in preparation for greater Christian service. An initial and foundational step in this development has been our monthly Saturday morning Men’s prayer gathering. We are excited about where the Lord is leading in this particular aspect of our Men’s ministry, especially in our day when so many husbands and fathers are walking away from their God-given responsibilities to lead their families. We encourage members and guests alike to join our men as they grow and minister together.
